I will only go so far as to say this... Read the ENTIRE lease or management agreement BEFORE signing... You should also research different companies in the area to get an idea of what the norm is for this type of business. Ask LOTS of questions if you are uncomfortable with what you are hearing. Document everything with dates, times and substance of conversation, and save every e-mail... Caveat Emptor!!!
