I received a phone call asking for an individual who has not been with our company for three years and had a married name the last year she was employed. I told them I would need to check in other departments to see if this directory had been ordered.

They have a recorded conversation with me regarding the order. They have no recorded conversation with me placing an order, no purchase order number, nor have I seen any copy of the ad that I needed to approve.

They tell me this is an outstanding balance from an order placed 4 years ago. What took them so long to collect?
