Employee stole my debit information and did $1600.00 of porn ripoff

On oct. 7 i called the 1-866-cingular number and paid my bill on the phone with my debit card. 3 weeks later my checking account was 500.00 in negatives. After research and fighting banks and porn companies, we learned that the man who did that to me was the cingular employee. He kept my number and did 1600.00 of porn on internet.

I contacted cingular and they LAUGHED at me.
They pretty much said, im sorry, not our problem tho. They offered me a new phone as "punitive damages". The employee confessed and is being arraigned. They told me that they were not responsible for his actions cause he wasnt a cingular employee. He was employeed with a company called west corp. And they were contracted with cingular to answer customer calls. Well pardon me, but if i call and someone answers with "thank you for calling cingular, how can i help you?" then he is a representative of your company.

I have lost over 800 in income, embarrassment at my bank and insulted by cingular. I asked if they would just let me out of my contract cause i just didnt feel comfortable and able to trust them anymore. They said only if i paid them 175.00. WHAT? Your employee steals 1600 from me and i have to pay you 175 if i dont want to do business with you anymore? Something aint right people. BEWARE!
