On January 31,07 thought I was on top of the world having a part time business from home, as I have been physically disable for some time, and still am. Things were going great I was to receive GOOD money grams, ect. For Adams Kids, and then distribute to orphanages from all over the world. Things went well til March of this year when a check from Thomas Cook Foreign exchange, with Chase Manhattan bank came back refer to maker, in the amount of 3,800. I was devistated. I went to my bank and they said I would have to call the maker, which I tried and with Chase Manhattan bank which they said they don't give any information out. My bank said to go to my original branch, then yesterday I received 5 of the six money grams in the amount of 890.00 each back said return counterfeit. Rushed to Safeway to find out at first that money grams of that large amount arent allowed to be made out here, but internationally are, not knowing there is a dot that tells whether it is real or not. Well I was sending Western Union Grams, as instructed, to Benin, Western Union had been notified, first thing Monday Have to go to the police. ANYONE OUT THERE BE VERY CAREFUL THIS IS ALL A SCAM, AND THE LAST TNT COURIER WITH LAST DONATION SUPPOSIDELY CAME FROM NIGERIA LAGOS, Has anyone else run into this and has anything gotten done, as total losses came to over 8,000.00 plus embarrassment. Worst of it all my family has been hurt by this it wiped us out, and we aren't with any income, not saying I should of know much better that this was to good to be true.
Anyone else please help and come forth. I have copies of all western unions ect, along with names, they used.
