Rent A Center
Over billing and not accounting for my sisters money

I recently moved to lansing. My sister was having trouble with her tv that she got from rent a center
After a couple of weeks the claimed they fixed it. She still was having trouble. She asked them to come and get it that week the tv broke down in shop. They gave a lender tv but was charging her for it along with the tv they were fixing.

She then purchased a stero that never worked she was told by her bank a check she wrote didn't have the right funds so she went to the rent a center and paid by credit card. They did not give her the check. They took two payments one for the check and another for who knows what.

My sister paid around one thousand dollars in one month and they still will not look into her account to see where the money is going. She has returned the stereo. But it still seems as if she is out of the money a very poor way to do business.

It seems to me that since i have been here in lansing she has had nothing but grief from rent a center and i believe she is being ripped off. Her daughter has a drier that still does not work that she got from rent a center and is paying for soomething that does not work they just keep saying we will fix it.
