Major Scam Ripoff

I got a phone call about a month ago from a Maria Cass, telling me that she could resell my timeshare for $19,000.00, no closing costs, no attorney's fees, etc. Guaranteed to see within 180 days or my money back. I said, well, why do I have to pay you upfront. She said for advertising only. That is the only out of pocket expense and she would mail me the contract asap. I said, okay, I will pay you when I read over the contract. She said, no, we don't operate like that, we need the money upfront, but I won't enter it into the system until you have had a chance to read the contract. I got the contract 7 days later. However, she did take my fee ahead of time. Anyway, it had alot of fine print, like, closing costs and other fees and that they were just an advertising company. She failed to mention that on the phone. Many, many calls later to Interval Realty, with no return calls, I kept on them persistently for my refund. I sent in a written Notice of Cancellation by certified mail. Still, no refund. I contacted the supervisors, who were very, very rude to me on the phone, saying no refunds because it wasn't within the "7 day period". Anyway, to this day, I have not heard from them, nor gotten a refund and want to warn people out there, if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is. They are just a telemarketing scam firm. Once they get your money, it is very difficult to get it back. I am still working on it to this day. I plan to contact alot of agencies to warn them about this company. And, if you do a google search on line, you will see that they have scammed many people out of money. I just wish I would have researched them beforehand instead of being so trusting. Live and learn.
