Compainies refused to pay me wages, had to threaten court action took 2 months Huston Texas

I was told this was the best company to work for. That they cared for the driver. Wrong.

I worked for them for 6 days then cut my losses and got out.

Buying fuel was a nightmare, it took hours to get approval, It appeared that the company has no money. Ii was told to give them a 2 hour window before I stopped to fuel truck, this did not work they still took a long time to approve fuel purchase.

When I quit I called and told them why, the owner said he understood. Then like a dummy I delivered the load the next morning and even put a pad lock on the trailer with the kiey in there. They let the truck sit for 1 week and had the nerve to charge me $75.00 recovery fee. (Without me written approval)
They normally pay the bus ticket home for the driver, this was not offered to me.

They stopped payment on my first paycheck, which was less then we aggreed on for my pay.

A month later I sent copies of my log book and demanded full payment as well as the law concerning this issue. Had to tell them I was going to take them to court. It still took a month to get my pay, which included a refund of the $75.00. O, yea the first check they sent me after the letter was a bad check. They blamed this on my inability to cash a check.

I do not know if this company is a cracker jack company or if they just don't know what they are doing. But, use caution when dealing with them.

I did get all my money but it took alot of work and stress.
