B&B Ranch Bill Bartmann Parvo puppy, no papers received. Supposed to be registered

My partner and I bought a rottweiler puppy from B&B Ranch the end of October. We were told that she was "papered" and had her 1st round of shots.

We werent given any papers when we picked her up at a run down convenience store. When we called to ask about them we were told by his wife that the papers get mailed from somewhere overseas and they have had complaints about people not getting their papers.

She said they would request that the papers be remailed. I actually just got off the phone with Mr. Bartmann who said that he isnt married and no papers are ever mailed that we have to register the dog on americanpetassociation.org.

When I asked him what info we would need he said the name of mother, father, dob, etc... When I asked him how we were supposed to get that info he said it was on file at his office that was inaccessible due to bad weather (ice storm here right now).

It wasnt a week after we got the puppy that we had to rush her to vet due to vomiting and she wouldnt eat or drink. The vet confirmed she had parvo. Luckily she survived. We contacted B&B Ranch to notify them that they were selling dogs with parvo (as a heads up in case they got other calls) and they said that all of the other dogs from this litter had been sold and they had no complaints.

Please. Do NOT buy puppies from this ranch! You will get nothing but the run-around from them. Don't waste your money on a registered dog. We spent $500 on this puppy and she is a sweetie but we did pay for a papered dog!
