Deceptive, slick and misleading documents and advertisement

My letter is very similar to Joan from Tennessee's report on this company. My story is that back in January I contracted with this company for $5950 to develop and market my new invention idea. I had numerous dialogues with Harry King regarding my product and the development of it.

At that point they did a patent collection search and came back to me saying that my product looked clear and "new" and we were ready to proceed. So after the contract expired after 2 years I did proceed right away with my own development. Well, this past fall I decided to hire a patent attorney to get started on patenting my product. She did a patent collection search and much to my surprise, she easily came up with products that were not only similar to my idea, but were almost exactly the same. Some dating back to the 1070s!

So as you can see Invent-Tech clearly took my money knowing that my product was already out there. I'm curios to know if anyone is starting individual or group legal action against this company. My recommendation, before you contract with this company, is to go through your own patent attorney for research and patentability potential.
