Continual Unauthorized Charges Internet

This company is a scam. Once they convince you to order something - anything - they will continue to charge you for all kinds of items and services with no notice.in the past year, this company has charged by credit card three times for charges ranging from $150 to more than $200. I have never authorized these charges, and I have actaully specifically admonished this company that it was NOT to charge me for anything.

What happens is some salesman will call me at work every day for about a week telling me that I have only a few days to order before the latest book ships out and I need to update my biography. He then tries to sell me an expensive book. When I refuse, he charges me anyways. When I am not in the office, he harasses my secretary and tries to get her to authorize a charge on my behalf (I have no idea how my secretary would ever have the authority to approve personal charges).

When I notice the unauthorized charge and call the company, no one can tell me who authorized the charge.in fact, the most recent time, they actually admitted that no one had authorized the charge, but that they were "trying to help out" by getting my order in. When I demand they reverse the charge, they act like they're doing me a favor and then tell me it may take a few days due to my bank.

Each time, it has taken more than a week and multiple phone calls to get the charge reversed. I have called my bank which has assured me that there is no delay on their end. They process credits the same day. Obviously, this company collects interest on the float time and on those people who are not vigilant about confirming the credit has occurred. I'm sure there are many who simply give up and this company just keeps the money.

I have read the "rebuttal" comments from "customers" who support this company, and I am fairly certain that they are from employees of the company posing as customers. They use the same catchphrases and lingo that the company uses to propmote its services. These posts are clearly shills. The fact is, this company is a fraud. They rip you off. Give them your credit card number at your own peril.
