Fraudulent business practices. Misrepresented puppy's health and looks. Suggested I do the same to someone else to sell this pup

I purchased a puppy from Debbie after checking out her website and several phone calls. The adult dogs on her site are gorgeous. I did look at several photos of the pup.

The photos were taken at an angle to inhance the pups looks and not show the length of its muzzle. Tho the pup did look fine online. Debbie told me it had a slight, her words exactly, slight overbite. She did take more pics when i asked for them, but told me they didnt show how cute he really was, that the lighting was bad or some such excuse. I believed her because the dogs on her website look so great.

Upon arrival I was surprised to find the pup looked like a poodle in the face, not like a shih-tzu at all. It's nose was long and pointed and it's eyes much smaller than a Shih-tzu.

I have owned a Shih-Tzu for 15 years. Their beautiful eyes and short square muzzles give them a unique and wonderful expression. That and their wonderful personalities are why i have saved and decided to add a second dog to my home.
This pup will in no way resemble a Shih-Tzu when grown except for it's coat.

My vet examined him immediately and i was told his overbite is severe and will require dental work soon. Debbie lied about this to me and failed to tell me at all that this pup was not going to look like the dogs on her website including the two she says are the parents of this dog.

When I asked for my money back and told her why she basically said tough luck. She suggested I sell the pup. When I told her no one would believe it was a registered Shih-Tzu even with the AKC papers if they saw it, she told me I should run and ad saying I had a shi-poo for sale. Her suggestion that I perpatrate a fraud on someone else didn't go over big with me.

I am very upset that i now may be stuck with a dog for the next 14 years that looks nothing like the breed I love and wanted to add to my family which consists of myself and my two year old female Shih-Tzu Jingles. My husband passed away last year and I thought a pup would be great for both of us.

I am very disappointed with Debbie. Her business practices are not those of a reputable and caring breeder. I dont think it's just ignorance either the way her website looks the last thing a person would believe they would buy from her would be a pup like this with a truely ugly face for a Shih-Tzu.

I hope no one else goes through what I have with this woman.
The very least she could have done was a partial refund. This pup is no way worth $700.00, and she knows it.
