Ripoff expensive boots broke before Halloween and they won't exchange Egg Harbor Twp

This store swoops into towns all over the country every September, taking business away from local costume stores. I purchased some black boots for my 8 yr old daughters costume. They were $55. She wore them around the house for one hour before the heel broke off. I tried to exchange them since it was before Halloween... They would not do it. I even had a receipt. The store manager would not do it. She called the district manager and he also would not do it. I got angry, so they wouldn't sell me the items i was purchasing for my 11 yr old son either. Both kids were standing there watching with puppy dog eyes, wondering if their Halloween would be ruined.

Before you purchase anything from Spirit, remember that regardless of the quality and expense of your purchase, if it is after Oct 17th, they will not stand by their product. They will not treat you as a local store would. They are not concerned about children or their happiness. Isn't Halloween about the kids?
