Impossible to purchase new minutes making phone useless ripoff Miami Florida

Tracfone makes it impossible to purchase new minutes. I attempted to purchase minutes online. They told me my credit card was declined. I called my Credit card company and was told this was not true. My account is in good standing and there should not be a problem.

I called tracfone. I spoke to one representative (Fredrico) who again tried to complete the purchase. Again my card was declined by them. I tried another card-the same thing happened. This representative put me and hold then and basically hung up on me.

I called back. Spoke to another representative (Camila). She also verified all credit card information. Attempted to make the purchase and again my card was declined by their equiptment. She put me on hold and supposedly spoke to her manager. Camila told me that her manager said that something was wrong on their end, but if I called the next day, all should work.

I called again today. I spoke to someone else. She supposedly connected me to the managers office where the phone rang for 5 minutes. I then called back and got Roberto. He tried to help and again verified my card information. Again it did not work. Roberto told me that it was because of the previous attempts that it did not work. I demanded that we call the credit card company together so that they knew for sure that nothing I did caused this problem.

We contacted my credit card company and the customer service rep did not know how to answer the basic questions that the credit card rep had for him. Finally, my credit card company deleted any holds tracfone had put on my card. Robert insisted that then it should work. He tried it again and it failed again.

I ended my call with Roberto saying that they were going to lose 2 customers after all of this.
