Ripoff I agreed for PCH to debit my account for 1 payment they took 5 payments out of accout

I was contacted around 11/16. Publisher's Clearing House operator ask me to make a payment. I agreed to a 1 time payment of 18.03. No mistaking the amount, I asked a few times to clarify. Also, said they would post the debit on 11/20. I took note of that & that was fine. I just happened to check my account today & there were 5 debits done on my account on 11/27, totaling $118.03. When I called the company, they said I must have heard wrong. If that was so (which it was not), why wouldn't they have just taken 1 debit in that amount.instead there are 5 debits, each varying in amount. I did owe them that amount, but was having to do payments due to Doctor bills. I did not misunderstand what the lady said that day. She was 1 of the few that didn't have an accent & I could hear her well. My bank recommended that I report my card as hot. Now I have to get a new 1, so that PCH can't go in & out of my account, freely. This is really scary.
