Cell Phone Rebates
Rebate ripoff Denied Cell Phone Rebate $150 after mailing 2 times

Shops, Products, Services

I mailed my rebate via certified mail twice. The first time they said they never got it so I mailed it again with documents proving that I sent it first time via certified mail. I called and they said the original was 2 days late so they are not going to give me my $150. They manipulate the rebate to trip up customers by stipulating confusing and difficult requirements that way they don't have to pay out the rebates, which is what happened to me. They said you can't mail it no earlier than 180 days from the date of the wireless service activiation date shown on your sales receipt and no later than 210 days after this activation date. But on another line it says you can't mail it no earlier than 150 days on the wireless service bill. Which is it? They didn't even specify whether the days were "business" days or "calendar" days yet they denied me. I really needed that $150 and feel so so mad that Sprint allowed this company to rip me off!
