C&C Truck School
And STAR Trucking Lied and hid things from my husband until after graduation

Okey first I want to say that this whole situation has left our family in such a mess that we are like days away from losing our home that we bought almost a year ago, utilities have been turned off and the money given to me by my mother to get a tooth pulled had to go towards a bill.

So this is how it started. October 19 my husband saw an ad about a truck school (C&C Truck School). They said that they would train him, room and meals were included, transportation was included, he would receive his first check in about a week from just being up there and that it would take 18 days to get his cdl (commercial driver license) and that he would go to Morton, Illinois for only 3 days. This was suppose to have totalled up to three weeks. Hey, we were cool with that.

After about a week of being up there my husband tells me that he isn't getting any money until he go to Illinios. After his 18 days were up he call me after graduating and said Babe I got my cdl get my ticket ready online. I did that. I call him back in Kentucky and he was upset. See what they never told him was that he would be gone to Illinios for 2 months. He was told that he would only be in Illinois for 3 days not 2 months.

Mrs. Sharon (his recruiter) told him that he would be driving local and that he would be gone from home 5 to 12 days at a time. We were cool with that too! But when he graduated the head lady in charge at C&C Truck School became rude and began to threaten my husband. They told him they would suspend his cdl's and that they would make sure that he can never go to another school. He only asked to come home for a week to gather some money so that we wouldn't lose our home. Please note that he went to that school because he was under the impression that he would get paid while being at that truck school. But they lied. The only things that were true about them is that the room and board are handled by them, bus tickets were handled by them and you do recieve your license from the dmv in Mayfield Kentucky.

Now STAR paid his tuition of $6400. But if you go to their website and download their brochure nothing adds up to $6400 or is $6400! Plus they said that no interest would be added to his tuition. So why is it $6400. Plus the brochure says that they have regional. But when my husband talked to the man from STAR he told my husband that they don't have any regional routes only otr routes which means over-the-road for weeks at a time. The brochure was inaccurate.

I don't know if they forgot what their brochure says but they are not honest. STAR's brochure also talks of other company's in our area. But when my husband talked to Bob, Bob said, "No we don't have anything in your area." Before my husband even left to go to Kentuck they told him that they had work in this area for him.

C&C Truck School and STAR trucking has really damaged this family. We have 5 children from the ages of 1-11 years old. We just bought our home last November and things are really tumbling down right now. We want answers! We just want our lives to be the way it was before all of this happened. I'm sorry if this report was too long. So much happened and we don't want anyone to go through this.
