I took the step unfortunately to find out they don't have jobs deceptive company

Shops, Products, Services

I felt compelled to add my perspective after reading the rebuttal from Ron Lawrence. I went the JobFinders route working with Cliff, the "retired" VP who was paired with me to close the deal.

I expressed my concerns with Cliff about a bad experience I had 8 years prior with a company known as CERG. Cliff did not hesitate to share the shortcomings of this company even though JFI had bought assets from them including the use of the same office location. Cliff had expressed to me that this was not the bait and switch, JFI had the jobs and waved it in front of me. Desparate from hat I thought was an impending layoff, I jumped in to give me an option.

They took my money, threw my book together with articlescopied over the last 10 years and I spent my Saturday with Lee Dorman who tried to show me that I was so marketable that I was setting my salary reqmts too low! I then queried him that I was looking for the "network" that JFI said was different than the former JFI known as CERG (California Employment Resource Group) and that Ron Lawrence referred to in his rebuttal.

After 1 year of trying to "utilize the system" and the lack of returned phone calls or emails by my consultant, Mr. Lee Dorman, I chalked up the loss and moved on. I even tried leaving messages for Mr. Lawrence and those were never returned either. I received 2 or 3 phone calls from the stellar resume they packaged for me and neither from their leads. These leads were not for jobs that these guys were so eager to sponsor me for, but for position that were 20-30% less money than I was currently making with less responsibility than I was seeking. What a waste.

I only wish these guys would spend less energy bad mouthing each other or changing their business names and instead work to really get someone placed for the large amount of money they take from their clients.By the way, I would be happy to settle, since I received no support after that Saturday session with the exception of the administrative assistant that passed the references along. I believe that was the offer in your rebuttal Mr. Lawrence. Just send the check to the usacomplaints.com folks or you can send it to me since you probably have me in your dead client's file.
