I was checking out various skin creams and came across Hydroderm who offered a free sample, and the only charge would be $4.95 for S&H. I received not one but three products and the charge on my credit card was for $26.85. When I contacted them, I was told that there were no free samples, only free 30-day trials. That's not what the web page said that I got the information from.
A little while later, I received a package from Hydroderm, but I didn't open it. My mail carrier said I could write "Did not order, return to sender" over their lable. But, Hydroderm billed me $69.00 anyway.
Another month went by and I received a third credit card statement with yet another $69.00 deduction.
Hydroderm tells me I should have packaged up my "free" sample and sent it back, and I should have returned the second package using their return mail code. I found out that code was inside the package—that I didn't open!
This company doing business as Alana LLC fleeced me and others I have read about, and must be stopped.
