Free? I guess if by free meaning $2,080 ripoff

It all started when me my 2 daughters and my friend visited Palisades Center. I was walking when some people called me out and said how beautiful my little daughter was. They later told me if I was intrested in letting her model and so excitedly I said yes. They made me fill out a contact card and said they will call me and give me more details and that it was all free.

A day later some guy called saying that they were interested in seeing us because schools were about to start and they needed a lot of children 3-9 years old. So I schedule a meeting and went. When I got there I was amazed at how many people there were. They kept me wating for a bout 2 hours and they finally called me in.

Just as soon as I got in she asked if my older daughter would like to model as well. She also clomplemented how gorgeous my daughters where. After painting a pretty picture of how famous my daughter could become and who they could work with famous people she said that we would need composite cards. She showed us some samples and magazines and then the prices of how much the photoshoot would cost. It was so much money that I said no but then she said that she wouold give us a discount and she left it for almost half the price and said that she did it because she thought that my daughters were beautiful. I agreed and she asked if we wanted to do the photoshoot the same day so that we wouldnt come back and again I agreed. I went down to hair and makeup and the place was crowded they only had 4 people working there and they did people's hair and makeup as fast as posible withoout caring if they looked good or not they left my daughters kinda ugly with colors that werent right for them so I thought maybe that's what the companies want. So my daughters took their pictures and we went home.

After that we went back to see our slides and we were put in a little room to see them. Then they told us to take out the bad ones and they chose the best 5 for us. Finally they sent us to the marketing producer which told us a whole different story.

She said that we had to pay 4.50 for each composite card and they had to send at least 100. I Immediately said no so then she said that we could put them online and make a portfolio there so that it would be cheaper and that she would give me a discount because I had 2 daughters and again I said no. Especially because they said they would send them in 6 months.

As soon as I got home I put in the name and soon found out that they were rip-offs. I also found out that they aren't a model agency but a development center that does nothing more but offer overpriced pics to parents who dont even need them for their kids. I also found out that I could get my money back because they don't want bad press. But I think they deserve to revealed as the scammers that they are.

So if you know anyone who is about to get involved in this stop theme and if you are involved don't go further and ask for your money back!!
