Ripoff! Beware-processing time has no end-will not comply

My story is like ALL the others that have been ripped off by Inphonic and the phony claim that they give rebates on cell phones purchased.

I purchased my phones in July. I submitted 4 rebates at $100 each on Feb. 10 via certified mail (only because I read the all the BAD complaints on the internet). They posted all 4 rebates by mid-March with the generic description of "your submission is being processed - please allow 10 to 12 weeks".

After several calls and lots of hassel, I received 1 rebate via mail for $100 in late May. 2 of the rebates said the checks would be issued in 8 weeks. 1 rebate said it was invalid due to wrong dates on the phone bill. Keep in mind that ALL 4 rebates had the same phone bill.

I called early June to complain and was told that the 10-12 weeks was from the time all the documentation had been approved, not from when they received it. So basically the rep told me that it took 10-12 weeks for the paperwork to be approved, then another 10-12 weeks for the checks to be issued.

At this point, I am thinking that I am going never going to see the money that is owed to me.

Mid-July the website tells me that the have to resubmit all rebates due to several errors. Ok. Really??!! Now it is August one year and one month from my purchase date. It has been 6 months since I sent in the rebates for processing. And now, I am being told that they have to start the process all over again.

I have been RIPPED OFF! But, I will not go down without a fight. I will be calling in DAILY with complaints. I have another number that I am going to try. It is the Finance Team for Inphonic. For anyone interested... The number is 1-866-274-8573.
