The Realtor submitted forged documents for closing and failed to perform any of her duties, failed to disclose terms, commission, etc

In the process of purchasing a condo last year, Cynthia Crum claimed to require the signatures of both my wife and I to submit an offer.

* Once the offer was accepted, instead of contacting us to execute the contract, she proceeded to copy and paste our signatures into the contract in the appropriate places.

* At no time did she receive authorization from us in either verbal or written form to attach our signatures in any manner.

* In addition, at no time would she disclose her commission or the closing costs or procedure. She didn't bother to attend the closing, give us any information concerning it, or even bother returning our calls in the day proceeding. Due to this, we did not have the information required and were not able to complete the closing on that day.

* Finally, when the contract was sent to us, the lead paint disclosure form was not included.

After attempting to pursue this through both the Better Business Bureau, no resolution was forthcoming and I filed with Northern Virginia Association of Realtors (NVAR).

Once a complaint was filed against her via NVAR, the full contract was delivered to us along with the lead paint disclosure form which claimed we were okay with the lead content and received information to deal with it. To date, she never informed us and we never received this information.

The NVAR complaint is currently in process, but they've already "lost" it once and requested us to resubmit just days before their internal statute of limitations. As of now, it has been 9 months since the closing and almost 7 months since our first filing against her.
