Rebate ripoff Difficult and confusing rebate offe

I have been waiting word also on rebate offer for and Aquabug purchased last year from a local pool company. I just recently learned that this rebate is a deferred rebate, something I have never heard of.

If you can read the small (very small) and confusing instructions for this ridiculus rebate you will soon realize that U.S. Admin. Is doing everything it can to avoid paying the rebates to the consumers.

I filled out the first stub with everything they required and sent it registered mail. I didn't receive one word or confirmation it was received. Now they want the same thing plus proof of the certified mail. I am going to send in what I have but I bet anything they will find a way to deny it. READ THAT SMALL PRINT.

They know and count on most people not reading that ridiculus small print and expect rebates to be issued in good faith for doing business with a reputable dealer.

I went to this dealer (Pool Nation) and asked for my money back and he refused, but he did tell me it was deferred rebate. UHUH,
did I say that out loud, read rule #4 the merchant is restricted to offer any reminders for this rebate. I guess I just don't understand it, but it sure sounda a dubious to me since most people are not familiar with this whole process.

I've never encountered a rebate like this. I joked that I was expected to send in a set of fingerprints and an FBI background check along with everything else.

So go ahead and put your stinking rebuttal out there and I hope people like you can live with yourself. You know what your doing and it is not right... But that's ok your states attorney general is also going to know somewhere down the line.
