Installed brand new air conditioner incorrectly and not up to code

They hooked new air conditioner up to old evap coil from 1958 when the house was built instead of hooking it up to the new evap coil. Did not hook up the duct work to the blower motor correctly, there is a 2-inch gap all the way around they covered up with tape. They did not install the new A/C unit on a concrete slab it is sitting on the ground.

We have outrageous electric bills and my house still doesn't get colder than 87 degrees because the air is leaking in the attic instead of coming out the vents like it is suppost to.

They have lost both their plumbing and air conditioning licenses. We have called them and they came out took pictures, and even admitted they screwed up badly. Scheduled an appointment to fix it and then never showed up. We have submitted a report to the better business bureau and waiting for the paperwork to file with the registrar of contractors. We are in the process of getting estimates on the cost to fix this and so far the servicemen have no clue on how to fix it, it is that messed up. So far the only suggestions are to take it all out and start over by putting it in correctly.
