I received a call from "First Capital Consumers Group" on March 1. They promised a Visa card with a credit limit of $2500.00. The price, $199.00, to be debited out of your checking account within the next 15 days.

A customer service number was given 416-488-4664 with a pin # of 3636. The man told me that if I decided to cancel the transaction or move te date up, just call customer service.

About 10 minutes later, I received a confirmation call. Today is May 13 and I have yet to receive a card. The amount of $199.00 was taken out of my account on March 13. I have called this customer service number 274 times within the last 2 months.

I have spoken with 4 people out of these 274 calls. They all have different stories and the last person I spoke with actually offered this website to me so I could read up on the reports being given on this company. Why?

I did receive a "welcome package" about three weeks ago and was told that I should receive my card 5 days after that. It's been three weeks. The person I spoke with today told me that she was going to overnight a different package to me because the one I was sent did not have the form to fill out to receive the card.

She said that a lot of people think this is a rip-off because they are mislead from the beginning and that it really does take about 2 months to get the card, not 7 days. I fell for the scam because I am trying to rebuild my credit.instead, I am 200.00 worse off than before I received the card.
