Ripoff They mess up my credit

In Nov. 07, I got engage in business with Verizon-wireless co. And got a cell phone and a calling plan. It didn't take five months for them to rip me off and mess up my clean credit.

After tree moths with my phone, I got injured and decided to go on a three month temporary disconnection plan, for 15.00 dollars they had. At the time I called, I asked for my balance and the time for my disconnection, and the rep. Told me it was 15.00 dollars and no balance. I agreed and she suggested me to call later; at the time the monthly cycle would be completed. I called later and sent the 15 dollar payment; but two months later they sent me a bill for 70. Dollars and cents. Because they allegedly said I had a previous balance. I called to find out about that charges and to arrange the payment, but nobody helped me at that time.
I waited to next month to try to collect or to get some money, and they sent me a bill with late charges. The worst thing was that five days later, they sent an early cancellation contract bill for 286.30 dollars. I called to try to arrange to have my service back for the amount owed, (81.13) but they denied me any option, but to pay what they had established before. I tried to explain to them that I had not received any cancellation notice but the late charged bill, but they said they called to a phone that I gave them in the contract; that phone was accepted for them because I didn't have a phone at that time.

To sum up. I felt ripped off because: first. At the time they sent me the early disconnection contract charges, I was still under the three month period of temporary disconnection plan. Second. I wasn't informed of a previous balance at the time of temporary disconnection plan. Third. I called to try to arrange to have my service back for the amount owed, (81.13) but they denied me any option, but to pay what they had established before. Fourth. They denied me a 1 800 number from their Central corporation office. I understand that not giving a Corp. Office number is illegal, but it seems that nobody takes care of this problem, and the result is that those fraudulent companies are messing with people's clean credit, like they did it with mine.
