Ripoff put me on an extended 2 yr. Contract with out me knowing it

My 2 year contract with Alltel was just up. I was happy with them so I decided to stay with them, but on a monthly basis. After your contract is up you can choose to do this.

I wanted a flip top phone. They told me that since I was staying with them my phone would be free. I just found out from them today that I am now obligated to another 2 year contract with them since I took the phone.

At no time did I sign a new contract. I told them that nobody explained that to me. I was told that if I wanted out of the contract I will have to pay $200.00.

I think this is a dishonest way of doing business. I had no intention of leaving Alltel. I was satisfied with them, but I just wanted to go on a monthly basis.
