Ripoff

I was getting married and looked up different photographers in the phone book and on the web. I came across artphotography by Michelle Dumser and decided to call and make an appointment to meet with her.

My soon to be husband and I met with Michelle Dumser who's studio was at her home in Destrehan, LA. I looked over all of her work and heard all the stories of her satisfied customers.

Her work spoke for itself. I right then decided to use her servies. I paid her a deposit of $150.00, and later in August I paid her in full amounting to approximatily $850.00.

She was suppose to come to my home as I was getting dressed and take photos but she did not show. She did arrive at the church and the reception.

I did not here from her for a while but later I did recieve my preview photos in April. I did not have any complaints about the photographs.

I called her in April and spoke to her about the photos, we talked about the wedding and why she was late coming to the house, but that was okay. She told me to select the photos I liked most and mail it to her so she could start working on the final package, she also stated she would send me an extra photo (16x14) of my choice for free since she was late.

I mailed to her as she requested to selected photos in May. I tried calling her to make sure she had received my selections but all I got was a message saying nothing would be processed until after Sept.

Well, it has been one year and two months after my wedding and I have not received my photos, nor have I heard from her.
