Wedding Photography Ripoff Took Money And Disappeared

I decided to get married in late November. The wedding was scheduled for December 23 and with such short notice and the proximity to Christmas I had a tough time finding a photographer.

I searched the web and found a website for Michelle Dumser at www.artphotomd.com. I contacted Michelle and she agreed to do the wedding. I paid her $595.00 in full before the date of the wedding.

Michelle Dumser attended the wedding and took the photographs requested. About 3 weeks later I received a proof book with horrible pictures. Disreguarding the quality of the photos I contacted Michelle a couple of months later only to have her never return my calls but she did change her voice mail to a nasty message.

She said if any bride was married before the 1st of January you would have to wait until after September to get your pictures but to mail the request. I continued to call the four different numbers I have for her so I could have the address of where to send the photos only to have all but one of the numbers disconnected. Her websited was also no longer available.

I went ahead and sent the request to the only address I had listed. I have never heard anything from her again.
