Price Gouging ripoff

Will someone please explain to me why U-haul now charges outrageous prices to use their moving trucks for families who are trying to move back to Louisiana and Mississippi?!!!

The SMALLEST truck one-way from Atlanta to Louisiana is over $1100! Of course, that does not include tax, gas, no moving men, no dollie, no blankets, no wrap - just the smallest truck. Of course the bigger trucks are even more!

Is it right? Is it fair? Can these moving truck companies really do this to the people who are trying to move back home after the disaster. I would gladly pay $300-400 for a truck... Whatever... Something MORE REASONABLE! I feel this is just outrageous!

Can anyone help&Any suggestions on who I can call&I would love to talk to the Governor and ask her if she is even aware of this!
