Had phone service with q-tel and after one month the service was terrible. I switched to sbc... Q tel lost my payment of 70.00 and then turned off my long distance which was 10.00 of the bill... The phone service ran from the 10th of the month until the 9th of the next month. If phone bill wasn't paid before the 4th of the month then you had a 10.00 late fee attached to the bill. Does that make since!!! It didn't to me!!! Because you paid in advance for the phone service and it ran for the 10th to the 9 if bill wasn't paid by the 11th then you had a 15.00 late fee... I had paid for the monthly service ahead of time but switched phone compaines on the 8th... Which they should refund the whole amount of 70.00... But they say that since it is prepaid they don't have too... They hold the money just in case that i want to return!!! Right!!! I have turned them over the the better business bureau and upon checking their records find that they have 62 complaints against them which some are over refunds and billing. I have also turned them over to public utility commissionthey are holding money for a service they aren't providing. South western bell is... How many other have they ripped off and keep their money??? I hope that if you are thinking of using them this report will make you think twice. And check them out before hand i wish i had.
