On Tuesday, April 11, I went to the Fantastic Sam's in Spring Hill, FL. The salon I usually go to when I need to have my eyebrows waxed. I was greeted and immediately led to a chair for the procedure.

The wax was a bit hot, but the technician, Anetta, regulated it immediately. The amount of wax in the vial was quite low and she was trying to get every available drop out before opening a new one. Everything seemed fine when the procedure was complete except for the usual tenderness from the waxing. I paid, tipped and left.

That evening I noticed my upper eye area was still tender, but really didn't think much about it. During the night, it was still burning a bit. When I awoke that morning, both of my eyes had burn marks in the shape of eyebrow arches below my own eyebrows and my right eye was swollen shut!

I made an appointment with my doctor and she was appalled by what she saw. She told me to ice it, take Benadryl and hope that infection didn't set in or I'd be back to see her. She advised me to go back to "whoever had done this to you" and show them. When I did, the technician took my doctor's bill and said they'd reimburse me. What am I left to do when these burns peel off and scars remain? Can't contact anyone through Fantastic Sams... No one knows how to reach them. What can I do?
