Continuosly Solicits Me to Apply for Their Visa. I Thought Target Prohibited Solicitation. Do the "No Solicitation" Rules Not Apply to Target Corporation? Ripoff

Target strictly enforces their "No Solicitation" policy rules with the general public, non-profit organizations and charitable organizations. Yet Target does not apply the "No Solicitation" rule internally and allows their employees to be predators and chase after customers to solicit them for the Target Red Card and Target Visa credit card. This is a double standard and Target should have to enforce the "No Solicitation" rule internally if they are going to subject their customers and the general public to the rule.

I have stopped shopping at the Plano Super Target because I am sick of being asked, an average of three times per store visit if I would like to apply for a Target Visa and save 10% on my purchase. I have to fend off these "vultures" every time I am in the store and tell them I do not want one and listent to them persist with their sales pitch of saving 10% and earning rewards.

I finally started telling the solicitor "I already have one" and then they have no interest in me and leave me alone. I also get sick of hearing the managers talk over the walkies and brag about how many red cards they have gotten and to continue pushing the red cards.

This is pure solicitation in my mind and Target needs to enforce it within their stores and stop bugging people to get their Visa. If I want their @#@# credit card, I will pursue it myself so leave me and others alone while I/we shop in your store. A brand new — just opened across the street from Super Target so hopefully Super Target will get their run for the money and other people like me, who are sick of being solicited by Super Target, will start shopping at the "New Concept" &.

Target won't even let community events occur on their store premises because they consider it soliciting. They banned the Salvation Army. They won't let the girl scouts sell cookies. They won't let the charitable organizations ask for in-kind donations for local events, such as the local "Relay for Life" American Cancer Society event, because that would be soliciting.

Get with the program Target and enforce your "No Solicitation" rules across the board and make them apply to the Target Corporation also and leave your customers alone as they shop in your stores as they do not want or care about your Target Visa.
