Rip off on Kids books

I ordered a scooby doo book club for my 6 year old from a school scolastic paper. Which we get a lot. I have never ordered from them before. She finally received her first set in our mail which first the paper said it would go to school. The payment was $13.98.

Then about week later i got another set of the same exact thing. I was thinking wow they are on the ball in getting next shipment out. Unlike the first one. Which was paid upfront. We open it the same exact thing with another bill for $14.48.

I was going to pay first bill on website i was directed to consumer complaintss. I then read some. I looked at the two bills for exact same order, same bill due date with two seperate account numbers.

Why in the first place if i paid upfront for introdutory offer in full why did i get a bill. Also why are there two different account numbers and two different amounts due for introdutory package.

I have not been able to contact someone yet to ask why. But i will be trying.
