Ripoff would not refund money after reject of product

I ordered the free 7 day trial of Lean Life and paid the shipping through my bank debit card. After I used the product, I called Lean Life to let them know that I did not want to receive the product on a monthly basis. I left a message but never received a phone call.

When the product came in the mail, I rejected the product so that it would be sent back to Lean Life. I called Lean Life to let them know that the product was being returned to them so that they could give my money back if they had already charged it. I still did not get a return call.

I left 2 other messages for them asking them to reimburse my money. The charge appeared on my bank account in the mean time.

I finally received a phone call 2 weeks after the initial phone call. The "customer service rep" told me that according to the "Terms and Conditions", they would not reimburse me for the charge. She further told me that they had no idea if I had returned the product or thrown it in the trash so they would not give my money back! I asked to speak to her supervisor and she told me she would tell me the same thing! I asked for her name, then for her last name and she hung up on me!

Needless to say, the company seems to be taking advantage of most people due to the "Terms and conditions" clause that is agreed to in order to get the product.

How do we deal with companies and folks like this who take advantage of those who may want to try their products? It certainly makes me wary to order online again!

How do I (we) get our money back???
