CPI Congdon Enterprises Emerald Design And Publishing Received late product that was riddled with errors. Extremely disapointed

I very highly reccomend against doing business with this company as a customer or as a vendor.

As a customer I have done 3 projects with this company. On one, the finished product (a one-color printed mailer) had graphics shifted all over the place. Things overlapped that shouldn't and the paper that I chose wasn't quite the same paper that my piece was printed on.

On another project (a restaurant menu), the black was printed extrememly heavily near the bottom of the piece. The text on this piece was white on a dark background, and on the finished piece, the text on the bottom 1/3 of the page was entirely unreadable. They explained to me that because it was 10 point white text on black that this sort of thing happens. However, before I submitted the project, I specifically asked them about this and was assured that it would be fine.

They offered to fix that problem for free, but every time I checked on it, no one was able to help me and no one would call me back.

The third project (not chronologically) was done well except that instead of the nice paper that I had picked out, they went with a cheap thin ugly yellowish paper that they already had in house. This project was also considerably late.

However, even as a vendor, a business associate of mine was hired to provide photography for this company and has had no luck receiving payment for this service. They used her photos for a project (I have a copy of the printed piece), but claim that they know nothing of asking her to do come in and do this or of her ever doing it. Repeated calls to different account representatives and the owner have yielded no results.
