Sent me a false collection report

Sent me a false report claiming they took over an account from a collection agency (LVNV Funding LLC). They are claiming I defaulted on an account with Bank of America, but do not list any details of the account other than a false account number. I do have an account with b of a, but it does not match the numer they referenced nor do I have any defaulted accounts with them. They claim B of A is trying to collect this from 1990. When I attemted to contact them via the phone number provided they just left me on hold for 45 minutes and never picked up the phone.
