My mom received a phone call from this company offering a 10-day free phone card as well as a $500 shopping spree. She gave them a payment of $4.95 over the phone, and was told that the packet with the shopping spree info and phone card would be sent to her.

Two weeks later (today) she received a packet from the company, without the phone card and shopping info. The packet also has the wrong name on it.

She deposited a paycheck into her bank account, only to find out that she had been charged 2 payments of $4.95, as well as an additional $129.90.

The shopping spree info we found out is merely $20 in rebates that are sent to you each month, IF you send them a receipt from CERTAIN business they they list. There was still no mention of a phone card.
She called the bank to stop the charges from this company, but all they told her was that she could freeze debits from this company, but wouldn't be reutrned her money. She was also told that this wasn't the first phone call the bank had received today about this company.

We called the company 5 times today to resolve this issue. They wouldn't speak to my mom, they wouldn't speak to my stepdad (the account holder), but they would speak to me, only verifying the phone number, but no names.

The man I spoke to the second time said his name was Bryan Jhonson, and one of his many supervisors is Nicholas Carter. The first time I called, I was told that a full refund would be sent by UPS, and take 4-6 weeks to receive. The second time I called, they said that the money would be returned to my mom's account, but in 4-6 weeks.

They gave a cancellation number for the account, but I was told that I would not receive anything in the mail to verify the cancellation.

I do not understand how a company can send information to the wrong name, not speak to the account holder, not be able to verify the CORRECT information after it was gived 4 times, but be able to speak to someone who had NOTHING to do withthe account in the first place, and hopefully get the issure resolved. We'll be checking the bank account regularly looking for the money.
