Fraudulently advertises Teacup Small Chihuahua's, sends Standard size instead Ripoff Internet

In January of after the loss of my daughters small Scotty, we decided to get a Teacup Chihuahua.

We located Cat's Chihuahua's by internet search. We found a beautiful little pup right away that was advertised directly under the picture "WILL BE 3-4 lbs". We wanted a small dog.

We wired the money to Cathie Knell and the pup was then to be transported to us by airplane a week later.

On the day of the night of anticipated delivery, Cathie called to tell us that the shipping would be delayed one day, that the identifier chip in the pups neck could not be located by the airport (This chip was never to be found later even by our vet, although we were told that the pup had it).

The pup arrived the next night.By July we realized something was wrong. The pup had become much bigger than Cathie Knell had let on. Our "Dottie" is now just over 9 lbs. She was to be 3-4 lbs and the reason we bought her. Locally we could have bought a "Standard" Chihuahua for $400. We paid $1800 plus air shipping for Dottie.

Our complaint is that under the pic of the pup on Cat's Chihuahuas, it clearly stated (and still does today for the pups she sells) that the pup "WILL BE 3-4 lbs"... NOT "maybe" or "might be" 3-4lbs, but "WILL BE", however buried in terms and conditions on her website, it states that they are not responsible if dog grows to unanticipated size. She has no process to assure that this "clause" is understood or further, even read. Cathie never had us sign a contract or even asked "if" we had read "the clause" that included this "IMPORTANT INFO" She includes a copy of "the clause" in the shipping papers.

If there is no guarantee that the pups will max at 3-4lbs, then as a good business, Cathie owes it to prospective clients to perform "Due Dilegence" to make sure they are aware and understand this fact and in doing so will help avoid client frustration and let down later. The buried "clause" within Terms and Conditions does state this, but allows for it to not be read or taken "as seriously" as it is a link to another page. Cathie owes it to her clients to let them know "up front" (under the pic of the pup) that the pup "can also grow to much bigger than 3-4Lbs and that there is NO guarantee that it won't, positioned so that it WILL "acutally" be read and further and more importantly "understood". She should verbally discuss and instruct client of this fact also before taking hteir money.

Cathie Knell aka Cat's Chihuahuas business opperation allows for fraudulently taking advantage of Clients. If this was an isolated occurence and if Cathie Knell was "Ethical" (as stated on her website), she would have given us a partial refund of some sort. To date, she has only responded with a copy of "The Clause".
