Tried to rip me off charged extra to move motorcycle dumped it on the floor of the truck didn't secure damaged it Ripoff

I contracted with Jensens to move furniture plus a motorcycle. They charged me a $250.00 "handling fee" over and above the moving costs which they claimed was for special care of the bike.

They did not secure the motorcycle but instead dumped it on the floor of the truck and tossed blankets on top. It was damaged to the point that it was not able to be ridden and Jensens refused to pay for any damage because I didn't buy their extra insurance.

I requested that they refund the "handling charge" because they did not secure the bike the way I was verbally quoted nor did the service match the description of the way special care items were handled as spelled out in their handbook.

I was denied the refund for five months until I contacted the American Moving Association. Finally, I was given $170.00 back.

Watch these people - they will cut corners which is a ripoff!
