Went for a haircut Dec. 23. Specifically asked stylist to cut my hair to one length: chin.

Instead, she gave me multiple lengths: chin in back, slightly higher (there are 2 back lengths) and just barely covering the tip top of my ears (which is a full 2" shorter around the bulk of my head/face than I asked for).

Certainly, I was crushed. I was so stunned, I paid my bill. Then I asked to speak to the manager. His name is Roman. Roman was nice and asked what could he do to make it better and suggested I get my money back or get a free cut from him (at a later date in time of course), or what would I like?

I asked him to write his name on a card and complimentary cut. All I wanted to do was get out of there.

The next day, I realized that what transpired was unacceptable. It was the holiday time, I was looking forward to making a number of parties and business functions; what turned into having the look of a 5-year old from the sophisticated style I asked for (and have been wearing for quite some time) was grating on my nerves.

I went back to ask for my money back. (This isn't really going to change my hair or my experience however.) And I didn't get the product I asked for.

The owner, Bob (he refused to give me his last name) told me he couldn't give me my money back because he had a landlord that he had to make a rent payment to.

Roman was there, and although I told Bob Roman had offered to refund my money less than 24 hours ago, Bob said no and 'to get out of his store."

He also refused to give me the stylist's last name (her first name is Sunny) or her license #.

My next step is sending an email to Terry Eubanks, Fantastic Sams, Southern California Regional Director (he reprots to Jack Keitt, FS's Pres. & CEO)

Stunning behaviour. I have been getting my haircut at FS's for at least a year.
