Online Advertised Price of Doll Lower Than Store Price, Refused to Honor

I do a lot of my shopping/browsing online and as Xmas is coming on I was doing just that. Found a doll that I bought for a little girl. Online the advertised price is $29.97. The stores actual price is $39.99. Upon questioning this price difference and showing a copy of the advertisement I was told that they refused to honor the advertised price due to competition. Called another Wal Mart and was told the same thing, that due to competition they were not going to honor the advertised price. I bought the doll anyway, it's one of the things the child wanted for Xmas but am very irked that our country has came to trickery and deceit to lure shoppers in for Xmas and tell you 'oh well, tough'. The doll in question is Baby Annabell Lifelike 18" Doll. Can be found online under toys, I have printed 2 copies of the advertisement. 11/17
