Ripoff fradulent billing poor customer satisfaction

I received a bill for an xxxrated pay-per-view and a premium channel that I know I didn't order.

Upon calling the "customer service" I was handed the script about someone else ordering this without my knowledge/behind my back. Since I live alone and no one else would have had access to my remote unless they broke into my house just to use my TV - that is impossible. I explained this but the script they are given was - "well it came from YOUR remote" it's your responsiblity.

Their "solution" was to put a block on ordering so I (and the others in my house that don't exist can now only order any movies or services over the phone. I talked to a "supervisor" but that was more of the same.

I DID NOT order this and have to pay for it anyway - plus it's a $5.00 charge to have it TAKEN OFF my service. This is total total consumer harassment. If I had a history of calling in with this every month - yeah I'm guilty but I could name the movies I legitamately ordered and they still wouldn't budge. I had to pay $50.00 more than my normal bill for "services" I never ordered.

I explained that when the signal goes down (and it did during this time) maybe there was a unexplainable problem? When it came back up. Let's face it we don't know and I'm sure it's possible for "signal" mistakes to be made.

I would like to discontinue service but it's almost impossible to do that also. Not only that - I don't even know what city their corporate headquarters are in -it's an obscure 800 number that you call. Help.
