Ipoff unprofessional lack of action

Goodloe Realty was contracted to sell a rental house I have in Frisco, TX. I had the house on the market with Tom Sowell at Goodloe Realty for 9 months. During that time, no marketing package was ever sent to me. I received only one telephone call about my property from Tom Sowell. I live out of state, but while out in Texas I went by my property to check on its condition. I was shocked to see no flyer box with information about the property, Goodloe's sign had fallen over and the grass beneath the sign was completely dead. The yard was over grown with many old newspapers and numerous flyers on the grounds. It was very obvious that no-one from Goodloe had been out to the property for MONTHS!

At this point I requested a meeting with Tom Sowell. I explained that every other realty company in that area had flyer information boxes on their signs except for Goodloe. Tom told me that he had a flyer info box on the house. I asked for a copy of this flyer and he said he would have to get back with me. I had to ask, several times, again for this flyer. I checked with my neighbors and asked them if there ever was a flyer box on the house or on Goodloes sign. They told me they never saw one. My next question to Tom Sowell was when did he have an Open House to preview the property. Tom indicated he does not do open houses, they don't work. Apparently the only thing Goodloe did was to list the house on MLS and their own web site. Then they sat back and waited for someone else to sell my house.

After more research on Goodloe Realty Services, Inc I discovered that their real estate license had EXPIRED on June 30th. At this point I cancelled the listing and rented my house out with another management company. This new company only took one month to find a tenant for my rental house.

Property Owners Beware of Goodloe Realty Services, Inc & the owners J. Thomas Sowell & Daniel C. Thomas. They are the most unprofessional company I have ever worked with in my 30 years involved in real estate.
