Recieved the free (yeah right) phone via the Internet. Called them and set up service. Everything seemed normal. One thing that concerned me was that it was so simple. Recieved the first bill, I was signed up for the $39.99 a month for 500 minute plan. The bill was $57.57. Never thought much about the charges. So, I paid the bill. Second bill came and the same amount. Paid it again. Third bill came and it was for $271. Think I was roaming right? Wrong. I never left a 10 mile radius of my home. So, I emailed them. You cannot get through to customer service, if you do you end up talking to some under paid over worked jerk. Well, through the email routine I was told that I was roaming in Sakina, Kansas. If you look it up on the map you will not find such a place. I told them this and nothing happened. I just recieved my fourth bill today. Another $57.75 is charged to my account. What is so funny about all this is that I get charged to call my home phone from 7 miles away. I also get charged to call my free (yeah right) voice mail which is set up what 60 miles from my home. Something is screwed up and I am not paying them another dime.in the future I will be more cautious of the FREE PHONE Service.
