The story: a short version we met James Doyle, the salesman for Protech at a home show months ago... We have the original letter/with an estimate/contract signed by him of all the work being done and quote for $25,970. He said we where getting a huge discount if the company was able to use our home in their brochures and catalogs as they are trying to get homes of our caliber to use their product on, as most of their clients are commercial
buildings.

He called and called and called and I finally asked him nicely to stop as we are going to use the texcote product on our home, and will call him when we are ready for that phase of construction. Demolition needed to be done first then the exterior paint. We have a major 15,000 sq ft renovation being done on our home from last years hurricanes, we sustained tons of water intrusion throughout our home and protech said their product is exactly what we need to seal our stucco so this wouldn't happen again in this hurricane season. Finally we are ready, and he comes by again to re measure, rewrite the official contract, we dotted the i's twice, crossed the T's three times and signed the deal, after doing extensive research on the texcote product itself that they are applying. The new estimate was for $29,900, not much of a difference just a small calculated error so we signed. After james doyle spent more hrs making sure he measured the property correctly.

The Protech installers (which i believe were just paint subcontractors they hired) show up the very next day a 3-4 man crew begin tearing up the outside perimeter of the home, the guy calls the installation mgr and refuses to continue doing the job, tells us off and we asked him to call the supervisor to come by the home. Supervisor tells us that the only way they will continue to do the job is if we pay them DOUBLE the original amount in the contract. The stopped the work and we have to fight them on the contract that they breached. I already had their liability insurance company adjuster by our home to see the damages they did to the entire perimeter of our home in the 3-4 hrs that they did work. Luckily no monies where exchanged, as they didnt want payment until the end of the job and we where ABSOLUTELY satisfied with their work.

Sure, at double the amount contractually signed... Are they kidding us or just scamming us??? They have not even had the descency to return our phone calls or make good on damaging the entire perimeter of my estate...

Another florida scam company I want you to be aware of, as i did all of my due dilegence on this company, TWICE, and they still scammed us.
