First Extended Warranty
Rip off after authorizing

Shops, Products, Services

We recently purchased a motorhome and purchased a ext. Warranty thru first extended. We had our first claim 2 months after purchase. I contacted first extended by phone since they had failed to send me any type of contract coverages etc. We explained the radiator was damaged and the fan assembly. The person @ first ext. Told me that both items were covered and to have the dealer repair them and then contact them to get a visa # for payment.

Well after the repairs the dealer contacted them and they acted surprised @ the 3300.00 repair. (I guess they think a 350 turbo cummings radiator is like a dodge neons). Well they said they needed to get authorization. This was the first red flag. After telling us they would call back in an hour or two, it was the next day. Then they wanted to send a rep. To look at the radiator. We explained it had been repaired already. They said that they would resubmit for approval.

After another day they claim they had to deny it due to no pre-authorization!

Well like someone else said i got a ladies voicemail that I do not expect a call back from. I have contacted the dealer to try to get some help, we'll see what happens. ANYONE ELSE have any suggestions on how to file complaint or legal actions against them or a similar problem?
