I started recieving phone calls from a phone number in Carrollton Texas about seven days ago. They wanted me to relay their phone number to one of my adult children. They implied that there was an emergency. When I tried to get more information they stated " it was confidential".

I explained to them that my child was away at school and I did not have access to her. They continue to call me and have screamed threats at me, ie. I'm gonna be sorry for not contacting my daughter. They call once and sometimes twice a day. The woman that calls me refuses to identify herself and is rude and belligerent. Today, I was able to get the name of the company she represents but she would not give me an address or her name.

I've explained to this woman that I am disabled and homebound and unable to help her. I have asked her to stop calling me but she refuses. She claims she has a legal right to phone me. I fail to see how I can be harrassed for someone elses business.

I have reported the calls to my phone company and plan on filing a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission.
