Sweepstakes Clearinghouse frauds elderly stroke victim in to purchasing "New" compute

A Dallas based company called Sweepstakes Clearinghouse sent a flyer to the house of a stroke victim in Idaho Falls regarding good deals on computers. Not only were they promising fast speeds and such but the PC was to include Windows XP.

After applying and sending them $400 the Idaho resident was upset to find out that he had been duped in to receiving and old computer with old part and a 10 year outdated operating system (Windows 95)!

There was no build sheet or any other information included except some old driver disks. The computer was clearly not as advertised and maybe if the stroke victim was of sound body and mind he maybe could have realized that Dell has a brand new PC with XP for $300.

Clearinghouse Sweepstakes is clearly not a business you want to deal. Companies who take advantage of people like this need to be stopped.
