Help, my brother died and left land payments to his crippled grand daughter for med expenses. I have a small town nothing lawer that is eating up the money, his office is next door to the court house it took him 10 min. To file the probate papers and charged 1200.00 for his time, i paid him and he said that's all he needed to close the file. Now he want's 463.10 to file the papers again and phone call's and i did most of the foot work and calling. He won't close the probate case. What can i do to end this? Thank you ken baker.
