ConsumerInfo.com - CIC Credit Monitoring SVCS ripoff - Double and Triple Billing per month

Like most of the entries I have been reading, I also do not remember signing up for this service. ConsumerInfo or CIC*Credit Monitoring company has been billing my bank account $9.95 2-3 per month. On one occassion I was charged $44.95.

When I called to inquire about my account I was told that I became a paid member in April and that there is a monthly payment of $9.95. Snce May I have been billed 7 times inclduing the one time of $44.95. (I am awaiting my April statement from my bank to see what charges I incurred in April) When I pointed this out to them they said they would gladly refund me two payments. Two payments... They owe me atleast 3 payments plus the $44.95. I refused the money because I do not want them to think that I accept that as any type of settlement. Once I recieve the statements from my bank, I will determine the amount that is owed to me, write a letter to Consumer Info and any and all Federal, State and local agencies who might be interested in there scam. I am also including all of my bank statements with ALL of there charges hightlighted.

I hope for me and all of you who are being scammed by them that you follow through with them. This company deserves to be shut down. Taking advantage of people and ripping them off is a CRIME and they should be punished.
